Cookie Notice
Last updated: August 22, 2026
This Cookie Notice explains how [Shiopp LLC] (“Shiopp”) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.shiopp.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session tokens used by modern web apps.
2. Cookies and storage we use
| Type | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Essential auth / session | Keep you signed in via Supabase Auth (SSR cookies and related session tokens) | Session or as set by the auth provider |
| Security | Support secure authentication and abuse prevention | Session / short-lived |
| Locale | Remember or route your language preference (en / es) | Session or preference lifetime |
| Theme | Store light / dark / system UI preference (often via localStorage) | Until cleared |
These are primarily strictly necessary or functional for operating the Service you request. We do not currently set third-party advertising cookies.
3. Third parties
Our infrastructure providers (including Supabase, Vercel, and Railway) may set or process technical cookies or logs as part of hosting and authentication. Payment pages hosted by Stripe (when enabled) may use their own cookies under Stripe’s policies.
Google Fonts may be requested by your browser to load typography; that request may expose standard technical data (such as IP) to the font provider.
4. Your choices
Essential cookies are required for login and core features. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service (especially authentication) may not work. You can clear site data / local storage to reset theme and similar preferences.
If we later add non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this Notice and, where legally required, request consent.
